Gnomeo and Juliet is clearly a superior movie no I will not elaborate

okay maybe I will for a film that is so loosely based on the original romeo and juliet tale it really turned into something so interesting a take on shakespeare but in such a casual but fun manner it highlighted the key elements of the original story and actually showed us not one but three or four on-screen character deaths for a children's film something like that usually doesn't go down well with critics but when they hit back with the relief of characters not being dead after thoroughly convincing us they were? writing euphoria and I feel it's so overlooked especially with how *beautifully* it's animated by smaller independent companies visually it's so satisfying and the colours and details are beautiful to look at especially in close up scenes where small things like scratch marks or paint scuffs are on the gnomes individually and the lushness of the scenery especially the gardens but the worn down garden especially because they managed to make a worn down and neglected garden into a stunning scene for the main characters to find their peace in the contrast of two rivalling households finding moments of peace in a place long forgotten and bringing it back to life again tomstart a fresh in the soundtrack fit so well for specific scenes it felt so magical to watch and how the soundtrack didn't carry the film but aided it in beautiful storytelling paired with such stunning visuals oh and the voice actors? using their real authentic voices and verbal mannerisms really sold you the characters the voice talent with this film is vastly underrated with actors along the likes of emily blunt and james mcavoy the cast and a wonderful animation team but the film still lacked something to really sell itself to their audience never the less I will never tire of the wonderful visuals or the vocal talent this little film holds i remember finding myself just captivated at the classic 'hello hello' scene on the greenhouse oh it's so beautiful the colours the characters the way the music fit so well and gradually worked it's way ul into the full song all while the characters never needed to say a word it was all in the animation and the music so beautiful and such a fun film to watch anyways
